Our newest book, The Last Dershing, is available for purchase.
The Last Dershing tells the tale of Ros Mer, a princess raised by dragons to the sole purpose of giving a future to their dying race. It is a compelling story of redemption and emancipation, not just for women, but for everyone without value or place in the world. The book picks up several characters introduced in The Last Dragons, seamlessly reconnecting to the events narrated in the first book, but also developing a story readable on its own. By joining together, these characters will find the strength to challenge a seemingly invincible enemy, who might just be more vulnerable and human than he looks. Davide Cencini’s writing style and story structure are strongly cinematic, plus the book is beautifully illustrated by Rita Micozzi, who reprised her graphic style from the artist Charles Vess. Just as The Last Dragons, The Last Dershing’s stage is set in some of the most precious corners of the Marches, such as the Rio Waterfalls, the Frasassi Caves, the city of Macerata and the famous Red Blades from the Sibillini mounts.

The Italian Librogame's Land Magazine has published on issue #151 a long article of mine about making your own books from start to publication. In this in-depht piece I explain how I compose my books, starting from some in-depth technical advice on how to set your document, how to deal with cover creation, printing and how to make your ends meet with selfpublishing. The article can be useful both for writers who work with a publisher and for those who prefer to work on their own. You can check it out here on Issuu (Italian language). |
